The Responsphere team participated in a Live Burn exercise with OCFA, Anaheim FD, and LA County Fire. We instrumented the area with mobile networks, EVDO uplinks, many zigbee sensors, and a host of other personal (SpCO) sensors as well as environmental sensors.

 

May 24, 2009

The Responsphere team initiated the 2nd SAFIRE drill. This drill consisted of multiple HazMat incidents as well as multiple casualties. We deployed an experiment that compared situational awarenss of Incident Commanders (one with FICB technology the other without the technology).
